Increased process reliability
Winding pins are usually offered as “blanks with groove” and must be ground and polished by the fitter. A procedure that is only partially reproducible and takes time.
Together with spring manufacturers, we have developed a grinding geometry for winding pins that can be used in almost all applications. The ground and polished winding pins can be used immediately and are therefore operator-independent and more reliable.
Longer running times without signs of wear
The grinding also allows for the production of winding pins with a variety of coatings for optimal friction properties. The optimal friction properties lead to longer service life and better product quality .
Increased service life through ceramic
In special applications, ceramic winding pins can be used. These increase the service life several times over compared to previous tools.
